| When completed, the new unit roster is submitted to ScoutNet and a Unit Charter Renewal Report Package is printed. This package includes the unit charter application. Acquire the signatures for the application, attach applications and fees and submit the entire package according to your district's recharter process. Check the Scouting Calendar for any turn-in dates.
Please note that Internet Rechartering is only available to you sixty days before your charter renewal date and sixty days after that date.
The system allows you to complete the process in one step or to return as needed in order to complete your work. All of your work is saved during each session and the system begins where you left off.
Finally, this is a secure site, safeguarding member privacy.
Helpful Hints:
Do you have your unit access code? You should have received this with your unit charter renewal package.
Do you have completed applications for all new youth and adult members? Be sure that each application contains all of the required information.
Do you have a list of all current youth members including any changes (e.g. Webelos Scouts who have transferred to Boy Scouts)?
Do you have a list of all current adult members including any changes in position (e.g. Den Leader to Webelos Den Leader; Assistant Cubmaster to Cubmaster)?
Select the Recharter data:
You can select your data from ScoutNet, (the Boy Scouts of America membership database), or from your own unit management software (approved products are: Packmaster; Troopmaster; Rank N’ File; Scoutmate; and Scoutsoft)
